    He is most famous for his groundbreaking co-discovery of the therapeutic potential of adipose-derived stem cells.

    This discovery completely transformed the field of liposuction and plastic surgery, turning discarded fat into a vital resource for tissue reconstruction and anti-aging treatments.

    Ramon Llull M.D. PhD. graduated with honors from the Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, Spain (1988), completed his PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology at the University of California, Irvine (1992).

    He is a founding member and served as the very first President of the International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics and Science (IFATS).
