Laser Hair Removal (Laser Epilation)

Facts

  • Outpatient procedure
  • Procedure takes 30 minutes

For complete removal of hair follicles using a laser, it is recommended to undergo several sessions (every 4 weeks, about 6 sessions in total) and it is possible to treat any location.

  • The duration of the procedure depends on the size of the treated area.
  • The laser beam is only absorbed by hairs in the growth phase, so we can treat about 80% of the hairs in one session and the treatment is repeated after a time interval.
  • Laser epilation is also suitable for excessive hair growth and skin problems such as acne inversa (hidradenitis suppurativa).

After the procedure, the skin is temporarily red and must not be exposed to direct sunlight for 7 days.
